The Ideal Candidate will have:

Ability to push/pull up to 1000lbsBasic ability to read English language (safety labels, instructions etc.Good communication skillsAbility to multi – task and prioritize projects.Demonstrates an ability to work independently and maintain high performance in high-pressure environments

Shift Pattern: AM PM (weekends and holidays included)  
The sorter schedule varies from 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm.  There may be times when a 9-hour shift is needed.

Hourly Rate Range: $21.01 - $23.34 per hour

What will I be doing
A Laundry Sorter is responsible for ensuring the proper sorting and distribution of laundry to meet Hilton's high standards of quality. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Pre-sort and separate linen by classification and transfer by lifting, carrying, or transporting to workstations.Empty the laundry chute. load off-site customer laundry onto belt and prepare loads for washer.Run folding equipment to fold mats, blankets, towels, bedspreads, etc.Separate out laundry requiring mending or special stain removal.Clean empty hampers.
