**Job Title:** Laundry Attendant
**General Role** :
As a Laundry attendant- plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service and maintaining the luxury standards expected to serve the needs of the business, our guests and our colleagues by personally ensuring that all hotel guest laundry is processed quickly and efficiently, in line with the highest standards of Miraval Resort.

As Laundry Attendant, you will need to:
**General Responsibility:**
• Communicate in a friendly, tactful and professional manner with guests, suppliers as well as colleagues.
• Provide information regarding the hotel’s facilities & services.
• Be informed and keep your supervisor informed of all matters that may affect your work, the hotel’s service or reputation.
• Always present a clean and tidy appearance in accordance with the hotel’s grooming standards.
• Be flexible and open to change in your job responsibilities, work area and/or roster to meet business needs.
• Be understanding, supportive, encouraging and helpful to guests as well as suppliers and your colleagues.
• Care about your environment and make sure it is tidy and well maintained.
• Be reliable and ensure you are at work on time.
• Know your role in case of emergency such as bomb threat, flood, fire etc.
• Understand the Employee Handbook and comply with the standards it outlines.
• Carry out all professionally reasonable instruction given by your supervisor.
• Report all incidents, accidents and guest complaints in briefings.
• Perform other extra job requested by superior as long as the request is reasonable and will not affect your health, safety or security.
**Technical Expertise:**
• Together with Housekeeping Storekeeper to do linen and uniform inventory.
• Do proper check regularly in order to get linen & uniform stock sufficiently and with usable condition.
• Report to Housekeeping Storekeeper should any shortage of stock to be followed up.
• To check new uniform when arrive from tailor for both quantity and quality.
• Report to seamstress to do small repair for uniform, such as: re-fix button, sew small tears, etc.
• To issue correct & good uniform to staff with natural smile.
• To keep a record of staff linen washing record and send a monthly report to Laundry Manager.
• To issue winter jackets, lost luggage kit etc. if any request from HK Coordinator or FO staff for the guest and keep a record file and alert in Opera.
• To do small in-house laundry job for very special or express laundry process if possible.
• Ask advice from housekeeping leaders whenever guidance or assistance is required.
**Lost & found:**
• Anything found in the guest laundry or staff uniform to be informed Supervisor or coordinator
• Handle the lost & found if you find in the guest laundry or in uniform.
• Update the Lost & Found in the register book
**Key handling:**
• Sign out the key tracking log book when you take the key
• Do not open for any one by your master key
• At the end of your shift return the key and sign in
**Qualifications:**
**Qualifications:**
· Minimum 3 years of experience in the department.
· High school or equivalent required; hospitality training or certification is a plus.
· Understanding laundry operation and handle the guest laundry.
· Ability to communicate in English; Arabic is a plus.
· Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to high standards.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to a wellness-driven hospitality environment
**Physical Demands:**
**·** Requires extended periods of walking, standing, bending, and stair climbing throughout the shift.
**·** Ability to lift or carry items up to 25 kg as needed.
**·** Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
**Work Environment:**
· Primarily indoors in a hotel/resort environment.
· May involve working in guest area, corridors, laundry areas, and outdoor spaces (e.g., balconies).
· Shift work, including weekends, holidays, and possible all the shifts.
· Fast-paced and physically active environment with a focus on mindfulness, attention to detail, and environmental sustainability.
· Support and team work with all colleagues.
