Position Summary
The role of Laundry is Attendant to ensures that all linen is properly washed, dried, cleaned, restocked and all closets are maintained with proper pars. To operate all laundry equipment and maintain a safe environment .
Salary: $20 Per Hour
Maintains the cleanliness of the hotel’s linen supplySorts laundry prior to washingPulls damaged and/or stained linen prior to loading the washingLoads washers and dryers to recommended weightsFollows proper settings and procedures for all equipmentMonitors usage of water to maximize consumptionInforms supervisor of any equipment failures or supply shortagePresses and folds linens and uniforms properly according to garment labels, stacks or stores and requiredCompletes inventory of stock as requestedEnsures the rotation with the team members regarding the machines, folding and removing and placing linen in the machine or on carts.Adheres to hotel policies and proceduresMaintains knowledge of and complies with all department policies and Covid protocolsMaintains cleanliness of laundry room and equipmentWorks the required schedule which cab be varied based on business demandUses equipment and chemicals in accordance with hotel’s safety proceduresAdheres to all health, sanitation and safety rules and proceduresCreates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectationsGives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest serviceListens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution, and follows through when resolving guest problemsProvides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basisAssumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest SatisfactionPerforms other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitalityPerforms other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest
Requirement/SkillsIdeal candidate will have a minimum of one -year hospitality experience in laundry or dry cleaningFollows instructions and communicates effectivelyWorks well independently or as part of a teamStrong attention to detailCommitment to exceptional guest serviceWilling to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysAdheres to the policies and procedures of the hotelPhysical DemandsRequired to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of timesLift, carry, or otherwise move and use of force or exertion up to 75 lbs.Use of manual dexterity of common office equipment; such as but not limited to, computers, printers, phones ect.Other InformationThe hotel business functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shift and alter assigned duties as business dictates.
