Job Summary

As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our patients, residents, and staff by ensuring that all linens and laundry are properly cleaned, dried, and distributed. Responsibilities:

Clean, wash, dry, linens, towels, and clothing in a timely and efficient manner

Sort and categorize laundry according to type, color, and fabric

Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines

Fold and package laundry items, including sheets, towels, and clothing

Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, including storage and inventory management

Assist with laundry delivery and pick-up duties as needed

Participate in quality control measures to ensure excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Requirements:

0 years of experience required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver laundry equipment and heavy laundry bags (up to 50 pounds)

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for patient and resident privacy
