About the Role

The Launch Lead for Type 1 Diabetes in Poland and CSE MCO is a strategic leadership role that drives the successful introduction of a first-in-class immunology treatment across the region. Reporting to the Commercial Head Poland with functional guidance from the MCO Launch Lead, this position combines country-specific leadership in Poland with broader MCO strategic support.

This role embodies Sanofi's mission to chase the miracles of science to improve people's lives by leading cross-functional teams through complex launch activities, building stakeholder ecosystems, and establishing new paradigms in Type 1 Diabetes care. The position requires a leader who can navigate ambiguity, inspire collaboration across matrix structures, and deliver breakthrough results in a greenfield therapeutic area.

Key Responsibilities

Launch Strategy & Execution

• Implement the Global Launch Excellence Framework in Poland and MCO, defining critical success factors, pre- and post-launch KPIs, and timelines to ensure successful execution

• Lead comprehensive pre-launch and launch planning for Type 1 Diabetes in Poland, collaborating with Commercial Affairs, Market Access, and CA Launch Lead

• Design and establish a blueprint for launch excellence that can be replicated across priority CSE launch countries

• Drive execution of the local launch strategy, partnering with Medical, Commercial, Public Affairs, Market Access, and Regulatory teams to map, align, and track core activities

Stakeholder Engagement & Ecosystem Development

• Co-develop and execute a multi-factorial stakeholder engagement strategy that effectively reaches HCPs, KOLs, DOLs, patient advocacy groups, governments, payers, and scientific societies

• Tailor engagement approaches to reflect each stakeholder's maturity level in the evolving Type 1 Diabetes treatment paradigm

• Map the screening and monitoring ecosystem, including centers of excellence, diagnostic labs, EMR companies, telemedicine platforms, registries, and referral pathways

• Localize global messaging and materials to build compelling narratives around screening and treatment for Poland and MCO markets

Innovation & Market Development

• Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance screening, monitoring, and infusion readiness through digital healthcare solutions, funding initiatives, and local data generation

• Develop data-driven solutions, including AI applications, to demonstrate screening value propositions and improve care pathways

• Build deep understanding of care pathway operational aspects to identify improvement opportunities

Commercial Planning & Resource Management

• Develop annual brand plans for Poland and support development across CSE countries

• Manage local commercial budget allocated for launch, monitoring expenses and ensuring cost-effective resource allocation

• Provide regular budget reports to senior management and support budget planning for other MCO countries

• Lead sales force management for Poland post-launch
