Our client is seeking Lathe Machine Operators to join their team in Dyer, IN. As a Lathe Operator, you will be part of the team supporting Production. The ideal candidate will have lathe machine operating experience, ability to read blueprints, and utilize measuring tools which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Lathe Operator
Location: Dyer, IN
Pay Range: $21.40/hour
Shift: 1st 7am-3:30pm
What’s the Job?
A Lathe Operator is responsible for finishing and final inspection of parts and preparation for shipping according to work instructions.
Utilize Plex system to determine production and procedure accuracy
Able to run multiple lathe machines and product consistent quality
Complete periodic quality checks on parts using measuring tools and gages
Perform grinding and buffing on completed parts to remove chips or burrs
Maintain cleanliness of machines, operating area, and other equipment used
