Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathe machines. The role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure the production of accurate and high-quality parts. The machinist will also be responsible for inspecting finished parts, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting machinery, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Work Environment
Work in a fairly laid-back medium-sized shop that is climate-controlled and not noisy. The work environment can vary between low-key and urgent depending on turnaround times. You will be the only person setting up and running the CNC Amada Laser Machine. The role is primarily on the first shift, Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with optional short shifts on Fridays. The supervisor is mellow, but the owner emphasizes staying focused on work rather than personal phone use.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
They have really good benefits and PTO too. Also get a raise once perm.
