**Job Title: Laser Operator** **Job Description** The Laser Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring an Amada laser cutting machine to process metal parts according to production specifications. This role involves loading and unloading material using overhead cranes, ensuring proper alignment, and maintaining safe material handling practices. The Laser Operator will inspect finished parts for quality, follow production schedules, and work closely with the fabrication team to keep operations running efficiently. Attention to safety, accuracy, and equipment care is essential in this position. **Responsibilities** + Operate and monitor an Amada laser cutting machine to process metal parts. + Load and unload materials using overhead cranes. + Ensure proper alignment and maintain safe material handling practices. + Inspect finished parts for quality and adhere to production schedules. + Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure efficient operations. + Maintain a high standard of safety and accuracy in all tasks. + Care for and maintain equipment effectively. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of laser operating experience. + Experience with overhead cranes. + Ability to read blueprints. + Understanding of sheet metal and fabrication processes. + Knowledge of CNC operations and laser cutting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Basic knowledge of metal types and thickness. + Experience with Amada laser machines is a bonus. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working the first shift from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with minimal overtime, providing a balanced work-life experience.
