Job DescriptionAs a Cell Culture Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our small-scale and pilot laboratories. Responsibilities include:
Support daily maintenance and management of lab-based equipmentCoordinate vendor-supported equipment maintenance according to scheduleSet up and maintain small-scale and pilot-scale bioreactorsExecute Cell Culture studies in small-scale and pilot laboratoriesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in a science-related fieldHands-on experience executing cell culture studies in small-scale or pilot laboratoriesSkilled in building, disassembling, and cleaning bioreactors, including associated parts and probesExperience with the setup and maintenance of both small-scale and pilot-scale bioreactorsProficient in inoculating, feeding, and sampling reactors and shake flasksExperience running samples on analytical equipment and compiling data/resultsFamiliar with maintaining cell culture passagesCompetent in calibrating probes, aseptically autoclaving bioreactors, and preparing batch mediaComfortable using online acquisition systems such as MFCS, DeltaV, and ambr for trend monitoringExperience working with Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN)Additional InformationWhat to Expect in the Hiring Process:
