Provides primary support to the Large Animal Clinic's patient receiving and admissions office. Receives all incoming calls for Equine Field Service, Production Management Medicine Service and In-house Medicine and Surgery Services. Schedules appointments/farm calls for all services. Greets clients and notifies clinicians/technicians/students of patient arrival or impending departure. Monitors response time to client from clinician, clinician ""call backs"", and acts as a liaison for clinicians and clients when necessary. Maintains all office equipment, existing and new computer systems and software, including database programs. Provides fiscal support to the VTH through the collection of revenues. Insures compliance with VTH financial policy through audit of all fees, processing of medical records for discharge, receiving payments, computer data entry into the VTH accounting system, delivering high quality customer service to both clients and staff. Responsibilities also include reviewing client credit ratings and providing clinicians with daily billing updates
