Language Assets Specialist
**ROLE OVERVIEW** We are looking for a Language Assets Specialist to work within our Language Quality services team, the role is a Full-time, home-based opportunity in Europe. As a Language Assets Specialist you will be responsible for linguistic assets management. This includes creating, updating and sharing all types of linguistic assets (Style Guides, glossaries, TMs...). You will work closely with our Internal Linguists within the Language Management team and be responsible for defining, implementing, and overseeing the TMS strategy to ensure IQVIA Language Solutions translation and localization projects are supported with relevant and updated glossaries, style guides, TMs and reference materials. Collaborating with Vendor Managers, Internal Linguists, Production and Delivery leaders, you will help ensure translation and localization projects are delivered to internal and external stakeholder requirements. You will ensure that all linguistic assets are updated and consistently available in all relevant platforms and repositories. You will report initiatives and results to the Language Quality Manager. **Responsibilities** + Proactively detect needs for glossary creation. + Define, implement, and oversee the global terminology strategy for a unified and consistent approach. + Oversee glossary updates. + Liaise with PM TLs and teams for glossary creation projects. + Manage TMS for TM/Termbase–related activities. + Oversee creation and update of Style Guides. + Liaise with clients for ad hoc style guide or glossary creation requests. + Maintain linguistic references according to company standards. + Support MT Engine terminology maintenance and updates. + Train colleagues on linguistic assets and CAT tools. + Participate in client onboarding activities. + Ensure all linguistic assets are compliant with ITS defined standards in terms of quality and compliance. + Collaborate with Quality team to define and implement CAPAs. + Manage and resolve queries; escalate issues as needed. + Maintain strong stakeholder relationships. + Comply with SOPs and quality standards. + Contribute to process and documentation creation. + Escalate issues in a professional and timely fashion + Support strategic initiatives across IQVIA Language Solutions. **Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills. + Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. + Ability to deliver results on time and to quality expectations. + Strong presentation skills for non‑technical audiences. + Quality‑ and compliance‑oriented mindset. + Critical thinking and innovative problem‑solving. + Adaptability to shifting project needs. + Deep knowledge of the regulatory market. + Excellent MS Office, Excel, TMS, and CAT tools skills. + Experience with MemoQ, XTRF, and reporting tools. + Ability to manage competing priorities. + Ability to follow guidelines and work independently. + Cultural and emotional intelligence in client interaction.​ **Minimum Education and Experience** + Bachelor's degree in a linguistic field. + Minimum 5 years in translation/localization. + At least 2 years in terminology and linguistic asset management (involving coordination of terminology creation, maintenance, correction and updating of the linguistic assets). + At least 2 years professional translation experience. + You are a pro in MS Excel. + You have a deep knowledge of the regulatory market worldwide. + You have a flexible mindset and able to collaborate with global stakeholders effectively.
