Desired Qualifications: Ability to communicate in English and additional language in oral and written formats; New York State Teaching Certification (preferred); Bachelor's Degree in Education or Languages; Strong interpersonal skills; Strong organizational skills; Ability to demonstrate cultural competency. Position Summary/Responsibilities: Provides support to multilingual students under the general supervision of a certified teacher; Supports staff with information about students language and cultural backgrounds to assist planning; Interfaces with families and staff; Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
