The Landscaping Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, maintenance, and enhancement of all landscaping and grounds areas.
What will I be doing?
As a landscaping Manager, your responsibility is to ensure the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces, manage a team of landscaping staff, adhere to budgetary guidelines, and implement sustainable practices. The Landscaping Manager plays a key role in creating a welcoming and visually appealing environment for guests.
Comprehensive Designing, Planning and execution of landscaping projects across the hotel premises.
Prepare and manage landscaping schedules and assign daily tasks to the team.
Supervise daily landscape maintenance activities including mowing, pruning, weeding, and fertilizing.
Monitor plant health and coordinate pest and disease control measures.
Oversee the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure efficient water use.
Ensure all landscaping work complies with safety and environmental standards.
Train and guide landscaping team members to maintain high service and presentation standards.
Support the Asst. Dir of Engineering in budget preparation and cost tracking.
Inspect and maintain hardscape features such as pathways, fountains.
Ensure seasonal planting and festive decorations are timely and aesthetically aligned with Resort branding.
Maintain detailed records of landscaping activities, plant inventory, and maintenance schedules.
Work collaboratively with F&B & HK departments for coordinated outdoor maintenance.
Handle guest feedback related to garden and landscape areas, ensuring quick and professional resolution.
Design waste management process across the islands.
Develop sustainable initiatives innovatively to reduce operational expenses.
Managing multiple Islands, Nurseries, Hydroponic Gardens.
Manage multinational team members.

Past Experiences [2-5 Years] in Maldives Resorts or Projects
