Job description Install new flowers, bulbs, grass, trees, and shrubs. Maintain flower beds, baskets, and boxes by watering, removing weeds, trimming, and performing other maintenance. Replace and transplant trees, flowers, and shrubs. Maintain trees and shrubs by trimming and pruning. Trim and edge grass in areas that mowers cannot reach. Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, raking leaves, and performing other lawn maintenance. Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems. Remove and bag trash from all exterior trash cans. Operate dump trucks, tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles to transport equipment, supplies, materials, and debris. Wash, clean, and refuel all equipment after use. Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures as necessary to avoid injury. Report work-related accidents or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager or supervisor. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals. Report defective equipment to manager or supervisor. Perform pre-operation equipment safety checks when using any mower or other equipment. Predict and minimize any negative environmental impact from activities and equipment. Participate in activities organized to protect biodiversity and share individual responsibilities to increase environmental knowledge and carry out necessary training. Ensure minimal consumption of resources such as paper and other materials. Implement necessary warnings and departmental training to save energy within the facility. Follow decisions taken for energy conservation and evaluate environmental effects and energy efficiency of purchased equipment. Carry out responsibilities to properly eliminate and collect waste, reduce environmental pollution, and minimize harmful effects to the environment, leading staff accordingly. Handle chemicals safely by carrying, storing, and using them in accordance with laws and regulations, controlling and reducing chemical contamination. Carry out all responsibilities related to quality management and environmental management systems implemented at the facilities. Perform any other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description. Qualifications Education: At least a technical high school diploma. Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience. Foreign language: Not required. Courses and training: Not required. Computer literacy: Not required. Skills: Plans and designs land areas.
