The Landscaper is responsible for maintaining outdoor areas and services to ensure maximum production of the dealership. **Summary/Objective** The Groundskeeper performs landscaping tasks using power equipment and hand tools to maintain the dealership's grounds. **Essential Functions** + Mows lawns, trims weeds, and rakes leaves as assigned. + Picks up and removes trash prior to mowing a designated area. + Empties trash and recycling containers. + Trims bushes, shrubs, and hedges. + Prepares soil and plants flowers, bushes, hedges, or shrubs. + Plants trees and prunes them when necessary. + Cuts and removes trees as needed. + Applies fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides as directed. + Performs routine maintenance on power equipment. + Knows and understands the federal, state, and local requirements which govern the company's business + Follows all attendance and punctuality standards with adherences to timekeeping standards + Follows the Company Code of Business Ethics and Conduct + Understands and follows all work rules and procedures and follows lawful directions from Supervisors + Upholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements + Maintains a professional appearance of self and designated work area in accordance with company policy + Attends pertinent training + Attends company meetings as required including all facility safety and development meetings + Other duties as assigned **Other Duties** Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
