Annual compensation: $80,000-$85,000

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Agronomy, the Landscape Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the care, maintenance, and enhancement of Belfair’s common grounds, landscaped areas, entrances, and seasonal floral displays. This role serves as the primary liaison with our outsourced landscape vendor (BrightView) and ensures that all common area landscaping meets Belfair’s high standards for aesthetics, safety, and sustainability. The supervisor will monitor performance, coordinate schedules, and provide clear directions to achieve consistent excellence in the community’s outdoor presentation.

Key Responsibilities: Serve as the on-site point of contact for BrightView, managing and monitoring their work on all common area landscaping, turf, trees, shrubs, and floral beds. Develop, review, and approve seasonal flower and plant rotation schedules to maintain fresh, attractive displays throughout the year. Conduct regular inspections of all common areas to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with Belfair’s standards. Coordinate special landscaping projects, renovations, or enhancements in partnership with BrightView and internal leadership. Manage budgets related to common area landscaping, including reviewing vendor invoices, monitoring expenses, and forecasting seasonal needs. Provide proactive recommendations to improve landscape aesthetics, sustainability practices, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with management team to review plans, provide updates, and ensure alignment with Belfair’s long-term vision. Respond promptly to members and staff concerns regarding landscaping or common area conditions. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, water management guidelines, and community standards. Manage Community Landscape areas, including: Event Lawn – Zoysia Grass Cottage Landscaping – 17 Cottages Croquet Court – TifEagle Turf Qualifications : Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in landscape management, horticulture, or grounds supervision (experience with vendor oversight preferred). Strong knowledge of turf management, ornamental plants, and seasonal flower rotations. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage budgets, review contracts, and track vendor performance. Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to high-quality presentation. Working Conditions: Primarily field-based with regular inspections of outdoor areas. Requires flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays to support seasonal projects.
