Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Landscape Inspector (Hardscape & Softscape) to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of both hardscape and softscape elements in various landscaping projects throughout the region.
Conduct thorough inspections of hardscape elements, including pavements, retaining walls, and water featuresAssess softscape components, such as plants, trees, and turf areas for proper installation and healthVerify that landscape installations comply with approved plans, specifications, and local regulationsPrepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to project managers and clientsIdentify and document any deviations from plans or quality standardsCollaborate with contractors and landscape architects to resolve issues and ensure project successMonitor and report on the progress of landscape projectsEnsure adherence to safety standards and environmental regulationsStay updated on industry best practices and local landscaping requirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related fieldMinimum 10 years of experience in landscape inspection or a related roleCertified Landscape Inspector certification or equivalentComprehensive knowledge of hardscape and softscape elementsExtensive knowledge of plant species, plant selection, soil requirements, and fertilisersIn-depth understanding of plant water requirements and irrigation systemsProficiency in paving, kerbs, decorative gravel, and landscape furniture installation detailsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishProficiency in using landscape design software and project management toolsKnowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standardsExperience in reading and interpreting landscape plans and technical drawingsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentValid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various project sitesOSHA certification or equivalent safety training is preferred
