One where self-directed, empowered employees have our trust and full support to realize their potential as they strive to make a bigger and better impact on their communities and careers every day. **As a Gas Technician with us the minimum responsibilities are:** + Monitor, inspect, and maintain landfill gas collection field equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operation. + Perform daily operations including inspecting, cleaning, repairing, and maintaining gas collection wells, piping, and associated systems. + Troubleshoot, restart, and repair equipment following unscheduled shutdowns or system trips (mechanical, electrical, electronic, and plumbing). + Collect, record, analyze, and report operational performance data, including gas system metrics and leachate levels in gas collection wells. + Conduct routine and non‑routine preventative maintenance to minimize equipment failures and unplanned downtime. + Support leachate and condensate management activities, including liquid movement, pump operation, and assigned system repairs or projects. + Operate forklifts, man lifts, and other mobile equipment as required, and perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal and deicing around field equipment. + Complete work orders, maintain accurate documentation, order parts and supplies, and comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. **_This position is mainly field work (80%) and requires our Gas Technician to work outdoors in all weather conditions to maintain and monitor field equipment._** **What We Need From You:** + A strong mechanical inclination and a hands‑on, “fix‑it” mindset. + A commitment to working safely and addressing potential hazards proactively. + 2+ years of experience in technical, mechanical, or maintenance work (or equivalent technical training). + An ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Must be comfortable working on outdoor equipment in all weather conditions. + Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and an openness to building new technical skills. + Willing to join an on‑call rotation (about one week per month) and remain within 30 minutes of the site during on‑call weeks. **What You’ll Get From Us:** + Competitive wages: $23.08-31.73/h + Retirement plan with company match to help you save for your future. + Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision. + Perks including an Employee Assistance Program, Scholarship Opportunities for children, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. + Insurance coverage including Life, Short-Term, and Long-Term Disability. **_We thank all applicants for their interest but advise only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
