If you're passionate about environmental sustainability and want to make a real impact, we want to hear from you. 🕒 **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays 💲 **Starting Pay:** $24.00 – $25.50 per hour, based on experience **🔧 Key Responsibilities:** + **Operate and Maintain Systems:** Oversee landfill gas (LFG) collection systems, including vertical wells, condensate collection, monitoring stations, and pneumatic pumps. + **Monitor and Optimize:** Conduct regular inspections of well fields, perimeter wells, pump stations, and leachate levels to ensure efficient gas collection. + **Troubleshoot and Repair:** Adjust extraction wells and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs. + **System Maintenance:** Maintain LFG control plants, flare units, and leachate control systems. + **Collaborate with Contractors:** Escort and coordinate with third-party vendors to support safe and efficient operations. + **Ensure Compliance:** Prepare and submit operational, safety, and environmental compliance reports. **✅ Qualifications:** + Must be **18 years or older** + **1–2 years** of experience in industrial process control (landfill gas systems preferred) + Valid **driver’s license** and reliable transportation + Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for up to 10 hours + Ability to lift up to **50 lbs** regularly + Experience with **pneumatic pump troubleshooting** is a plus + This is a **safety-sensitive** position - Must pass a **pre-employment background check** and **drug screening** **🌱 Why Join LRI 304th St. Landfill?** At LRI, we lead with **servant leadership** —putting our people first.
