**Job Description**
We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Land Surveyor - Marine to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will conduct precise marine surveys, collect and analyze critical data, and provide essential information that drives the success of our marine and coastal projects throughout the region. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting our commitment to excellence and innovation in marine engineering and development initiatives.
+ Set up, calibrate, and operate specialized marine surveying equipment with precision and attention to detail
+ Conduct bathymetric surveys to accurately measure and map underwater terrain for project planning and analysis
+ Perform hydrographic surveys supporting coastal engineering and offshore development projects
+ Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot surveying equipment to ensure optimal accuracy and operational reliability
+ Collect, process, and analyze survey data using advanced software tools and GIS applications
+ Prepare comprehensive reports, detailed charts, and accurate maps based on survey findings and project requirements
+ Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to support marine construction and development initiatives
+ Ensure strict compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance protocols
+ Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date project documentation and records
+ Participate actively in safety briefings and adhere to all marine safety protocols and operational procedures
+ Travel to various coastal and offshore sites throughout the UAE as project demands require
+ Identify and resolve technical challenges in the field with analytical thinking and decisive action
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
+ Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in marine surveying operations
+ Proficiency in operating marine surveying equipment, including GPS systems and sonar technology
+ Demonstrated expertise with data processing software and GIS applications
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to precision and accuracy
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
+ Physical fitness and capability to work in challenging offshore and coastal conditions
+ Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
+ Comprehensive knowledge of marine safety protocols and offshore operational procedures
+ Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements for marine projects
+ Willingness to travel extensively to coastal and offshore sites throughout the UAE
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Safety-conscious mindset with demonstrated commitment to maintaining high safety standards
