Join us. **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Land Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our projects by conducting accurate measurements, analyzing data, and preparing detailed reports to support our construction and development initiatives. + Perform land surveys using various surveying equipment and techniques + Establish primary horizontal and vertical control points and reference ties + Develop new data from photogrammetric records + Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations + Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys + Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other terrain characteristics + Coordinate with contractors and team members on work priorities and schedules + Perform regular checks of contractors' setting out to verify proper execution and accuracy + Maintain surveying equipment and perform frequent calibration checks + Apply and implement all safety and quality control procedures on-site + Monitor health and safety of construction works and report any violations + Keep accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed + Coordinate findings with engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and other project stakeholders **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field + Professional surveyor license or certification + Proven experience in land surveying, with a strong track record of accuracy and efficiency + Proficiency in using modern surveying equipment, GPS, and GIS systems + Expert knowledge of surveying software and data processing techniques + Strong mathematical and analytical skills + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, maps, and specifications + Understanding of local land laws and regulations in the UAE + Knowledge of construction and engineering principles + Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team + Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus **Additional Information** + Middle East or UAE / Dubai experience preferred + RTA pre-approved. **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
