Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Land Surveyor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Land Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our infrastructure projects, ensuring precise measurements and alignments for various construction activities.

Conduct topographic, control, and setting-out surveys for infrastructure projects, including stormwater drainage and microtunneling worksEstablish, verify, and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference gridsReview and apply approved drawings, alignment data, and coordinate systems in compliance with local standards and project requirementsPerform precise measurements for horizontal and vertical alignments, pipe inverts, tunnel drives, and shaft locationsConduct as-built surveys and verify the accuracy of contractors' as-built drawingsMonitor microtunneling drive alignments and breakthrough coordinates, ensuring compliance with allowable tolerancesMaintain up-to-date survey records, field books, and digital data filesCollaborate with contractors and supervision teams to resolve survey discrepancies or deviations on-siteVerify and certify survey results for measurement sheets, interim payments, and progress verificationParticipate in pre-construction and progress meetings to provide input on survey status and required actionsEnsure compliance with health and safety standards during all field operationsCalibrate and maintain survey instruments according to project quality assurance proceduresProvide support during testing, commissioning, and handover stages by verifying final levels and coordinates

QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related disciplineMinimum 7 years of experience in surveying and setting-out for infrastructure projectsProficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS, Total Station, and surveying softwareStrong understanding of coordinate systems, datum control, and vertical alignment verificationExperience with deep pipeline, shaft construction, and tunnel alignment monitoringRTA approval and certification for Microtunneling Works (mandatory)Familiarity with RTA, DM, and DEWA standards for utility and infrastructure projectsExpertise in stormwater drainage and microtunneling worksKnowledge of UAE construction standards and procedures, particularly in DubaiStrong mathematical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of workGood physical fitness for fieldwork activitiesValid driver's licenseRelevant university or college qualification (Min 3 Years of Diploma in Civil or Survey)RTA/ DM  Approval is preferred
