Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. As a Land Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our organization, conducting precise measurements and providing accurate data for various construction and infrastructure projects throughout the region.

Perform comprehensive land surveys for construction, infrastructure, and development projectsEstablish primary horizontal and vertical control points, including reference ties for re-establishing points in the fieldConduct topographic surveys and create detailed maps and plans of land areasUtilize advanced surveying equipment and software to collect and process dataAnalyze survey data, perform calculations, and prepare technical reportsCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of survey informationVerify the accuracy of survey data and make necessary adjustmentsMaintain detailed records of all survey activities and findingsEnsure compliance with local regulations and standards in the UAECollaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standardsPerform quality control checks on all survey work and calculationsAssist in training and mentoring junior surveyorsTravel to various project sites within the UAE as required

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related fieldMinimum of 7 years of experience in land surveyingProficiency in survey software, CAD programs, and GIS (Geographic Information Systems)Extensive knowledge of topographic surveying techniques and equipmentStrong skills in construction drawing interpretation and analysisExperience in vertical control data observation and benchmark establishmentProven ability to verify and validate survey data and calculationsExpertise in slope calculation, cross-sectional area plotting, and quantity estimationFamiliarity with local regulations and standards in the UAEKnowledge of boundary surveying and property line determinationStrong mathematical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesEffective communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenExperience with roads and infrastructure projects is highly desirableValid UAE driver's licenseWillingness to work in outdoor conditions and travel within the UAE for projectsPhysical fitness to handle survey equipment and traverse various terrains
