1. POSITION DETAILS

1.1. Position: Land Surveyor
1.2. Location/Department: Building and Infrastructure
1.3. Reporting to: Project Manager/Operations Manager
1.4. Key Working Relationship: All KSA BIC business units

2. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

2.1. Specialty:

Expertise in coordinating land acquisition processes, including title verification and due diligence. Knowledge of land registration procedures and local property laws.

2.2. Education: Degree BA or equivalent
2.4. Technical Knowledge:

Proficient in maintaining accurate records of land titles, leases, agreements, permits, and related documents. Experienced in preparing and reviewing land-related legal documentation for compliance with regulations. Proficient in managing digital and physical records using document management systems.

2.5. Experience: ≥ 10 years in land allocation and surveying

3. RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

3.1. Primary Functions
Role and Responsibilities:

Validate Land Handover Requests, monitor extensions and expirations by surveying locations to confirm alignment with approved requests. Provide notice to contractors 3 months ahead of a Temporary Land Request expiry. Investigate and rectify discrepancies during temporary plot allocation to contractors. Survey plot boundaries and verify that all handover requests are incorporated according to requirements. Conduct initial surveys of the Resort Core to check all plot and land allocations, reporting any misalignments with the poly allocation register. Process survey data using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS to support engineering and construction projects. Identify potential hazards and risks, conducting thorough risk assessments to prevent accidents and incidents. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for land use and allocation. Maintain accurate records of security-related incidents, training sessions, inspections, and other relevant documentation. Regularly review and update safety policies and procedures based on lessons learned and industry trends. Monitor and enforce compliance with safety and quality standards across site operations. Collaborate closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to company policies. Prepare and submit regular reports on logistics operations and land evaluations, determining shape, contour, location, and elevation for infrastructure projects. Ensure that incidents are reported, investigated, and documented accurately.

3.2. AUTHORITIES: As per Bureau Veritas policies
3.3. Technical Expertise:

Understanding of basic surveying techniques and collaboration with survey teams for land measurements and boundary mapping. Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for mapping and analysis.
