Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Land Surveyor to join our team! In this role you will get to perform land/field surveys and geodetic inspection on the sites.
What You'll Be Doing:
Review technical drawings and project documentation relevant to ongoing works.Conduct land and field surveys, perform geodetic calculations, and carry out structural inspections.Collaborate with clients and contractors to define and verify project-specific survey requirements.Ensure survey tasks are completed on time and within allocated man-hours and budget constraints.Verify setting-out and elevation levels; inspect and safeguard the positioning of underground and surface utilities.Create supporting field sketches and maintain comprehensive survey records, including field books, sketches, and calculations.Provide quantity measurements of completed work when needed.Adhere to and promote on-site safety protocols.Support the development of 'as-built' drawings.Proactively engage in site health and safety initiatives as directed by the Resident Engineer and Safety Representative.Perform additional duties related to the role as required.What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Diploma or Associate Degree in Land Surveying or a related field.Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on infrastructure and road/bridge projects.Proficient with CAD and survey software, total stations, data collectors, and GPS surveying equipment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Familiarity with construction sequences and standard industry work procedures.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
