Job Summary

This position is focused exclusively on the sale of land & equity raises for commercial real estate transactions. Investment Sales Advisory Analysts have the opportunity to be involved in every stage of a transaction, including underwriting, market research, property tours, preparation of offering memorandums, marketing and term sheet negotiation, closing and client meetings/events. Will work in a high-energy, team-focused environment. This position is focused on selling and capitalizing land, development, and redevelopment deals across all property types.

Main ResponsibilitiesPrepare investment sales advisory packages and submissions for commercial real estate transactions, including research, financial modeling and composition of executive summariesResponsible for complex financial modeling of commercial real estate transactions and utilize market and JLL data/comps to correctly underwrite a transactionManage the due diligence process and be the driving force in working through the marketing and closing processes for each transactionMaintain constant communication with the Producer, the market and the ClientAnalyze information from the marketing process to assist clients in making decisions related to their business plan and capital structureBe technically proficient in use of databases and effectively identify data to determine trends and prepare for pitches and meetingsUnderstand and review real estate documents (purchase agreements, letters of intent, leases, loan documents, appraisals, etc.) to identify issues and determine the best path forwardDevelop and recommend sales strategies to present to the ProducerBegin to build client network within the industry through meetings, events and involvement in real estate trade organizationsParticipate in weekly office meetings with Producers to discuss deal flow, deal status, market conditions and review new client leadsSupport the creation of pitch materials and client presentationsAssist with market research to identify potential investment opportunitiesOther duties as assignedExperience Required0-2 years of experience in a financial analysis environment; mortgage or commercial real estate industry preferredSelf-motivated, team-oriented and strong time management skills to prioritize deadlinesExcellent organizational, interpersonal quantitative, writing, and communication skills; able to interface with top level executivesStrong writing skills with ability to communicate analytical and marketing data effectivelyStrong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative informationAbility to be an independent worker with a team player attitudeKnowledge of the Atlanta, GA MSA is a plusCapacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAttention to detail and accuracy in all work productsEducationBachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics or related fieldComputer SkillsProficient working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and WordAdvanced Excel skills for complex financial modelingArgus experience preferredDatabase experience a plusKnowledge of CRM systems beneficialEnvironment
