SUMMARY
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the LAN Gaming Supervisor position with ASM Global/Boeing Center at Tech Port. Under the supervision of the LAN Gaming Manager, the Supervisor manages daily activities and the overall integrity and functionality of the LAN Gaming Center & Boeing Exhibit.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist and operate the LAN Gaming Center; to include technology acquisition and refresh, daily operations, customer service, event management, game title catalog, scheduling, & coordination with executive team/management to book, host, and execute esports events.Assist and operate the Boeing Exhibit; to include developing and maintaining part-time staff, guiding tours, VIP visits, special events, daily operations, scheduling, & keeping adequate knowledge of exhibit(s) and all related personnelAssist in planning and executing LAN Center events & activations to include field trips, birthday parties, private buyouts, and other activationsAssist in executing marketing promotions, social media campaigns, social media posts, and other marketing material(s)Develop best practice for troubleshooting technical aspects of exhibit(s) while creating feedback to sponsor to constantly improve the experience(s)Management of all operational equipment related to sponsored exhibit(s) and LAN Gaming CenterOther duties may be assignedEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
This individual must be an avid gamer and well-established leader with a history of managing a multiple device environmentThe individual must have relevant technical experience in gaming hardware and software in conjunction with basic aerospace knowledgeThe incumbent must be able to perform effectively under significant pressure typically associated with meeting the demands and timetables of the industryMust demonstrate general knowledge of network security and management as well as a fundamental understanding of the hardware needs associated with gaming and esportsSKILLS AND ABILITIES
Computer Maintenance -- Ability to manage and maintain 70+ computer systems simultaneouslyAbility to perform regular maintenance on high end gaming systems that include water cooling loops and other PC componentsComputer Hardware and Accessories -- Must having a knowledge of current and upcoming computer hardware and can optimize the devices on hand for the needs of the LAN CenterAssist with Staff Training and Management -- Will need to be able to handle staff management in all aspects including but not limited to, day to day operations, new hire training, new protocol training, etc.Customer Service -- Ability to handle clientele in both good and bad situationsMicrosoft Office -- A proficiency in Microsoft Office is recommended to keep track of metrics within the center for the devices, users, and staffOther duties may be assignedPHYSICAL DEMANDS
