**Now Hiring Laminators** **Job Description** As a fiberglass laminator, you will play a crucial role in creating components for boats by applying fiberglass to molds. Your expertise will ensure that all areas of the mold are covered with sufficient resin-saturated fiberglass matting, providing the desired strength for the finished component. Using tools such as a chop gun or hand tools, you will press the resin-saturated fiberglass matting into the mold. Once applied, you will remove air bubbles and air pockets to produce a solid sheet of fiberglass. This position also involves mixing resins and removing cured products from molds. Boat experience not a requirement but a plus. **_For quicker response send resume to (Kgraf@aerotek.com)_** **Responsibilities** + Ensure required parts and raw materials are ready and scheduled for production. + Arrange materials according to documentation using numbers, letters, words, or pictures. + Spray fiberglass and/or lay sheets of fiberglass onto part molds. + Press and smooth layers of fiberglass using rollers to eliminate wrinkles or voids. + Utilize fiberglass chop guns effectively. + Handle and manipulate materials using hands, arms, and rollers. + Use mil gauges for gel coats and fiberglass to ensure proper material application. + Maintain cleanliness and order in storage areas. + Participate in continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives. + Engage in Environmental Health & Safety and Quality initiatives. + Operate material handling equipment such as platform trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks. + Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required, including respirators and gloves. **Why Work Here?** + Full time with opportunity for growth + Overtime available + 401K + Benefits + Weekly Pay **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
