ROLE SUMMARY
The Payroll Associate is responsible for conducting payroll activities such, basic support in payroll tasks, validating information to be considered in the payroll, support requests with questions from colleagues and stakeholders.
For this position it is required to have the ability to manage attention to details, controls execution, support Latin American markets, and work along with stakeholders to provide excellent and accurate customer service in timely manner.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage activities associated with regular execution of assigned payrolls, including collection and validation of inputs and error resolution. Process pre-payroll and on-cycle payroll requestsValidate and balance the payrolls, process changes to correct errors and/or provide updates. Distribute required reports to stakeholders during the payroll cycleResponsible for overall collection of payroll claims / overpayments / repayments working with HR, Legal and other stakeholders Ensure all necessary audit processes are implemented and followed in order to assure Sarbanes-Oxley, external and internal audit compliance. Work with vendors, Digital, Finance and other teams as needed to ensure technology integrations, accounting interfaces and other system components are functional.Respond to colleagues’ inquiries as referred by the HR Service CenterServe as back-up for other team members as requiredBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Technical high school degree or University degree/ongoing University studies in a finance related field6 months up to 2 years of relevant functional accounting, finance or payroll experienceIntermediate knowledge with MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPointGood written and verbal English communication skill requiredAccounting Finance knowledgeDesired experience in multinationals (Shared Services Centers)Excellent communication and customer service skillsProblem solving and analytical skillsCapability to manage basic to medium payroll scenariosAttention to Detail and effective time managementAbility to maintain privacy and confidentialityPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Workday, Dayforce, ADP (Workforce Management), SAP or other common HCM, payroll and time / attendance systems preferredProblem analysis and problem-solving skillsData analysis and able to prepare calculationsWork Location Assignment: On Premise
