Join us and build _your_ ambition. **Overview** Amrize has an immediate opening for an experienced Labourer who will join our Fort McMurray RMX group. **Responsibilities:** + Perform general construction labor to include plant clean-up and moving of materials by hand. + Operating motorized equipment including power tools, loaders, telehandlers + Work requires alert individuals with good balance and physical strength. + Perform general plant maintenance ie. Greasing and inspecting plant. + Work could but could be exposed to cold and heat, noise and dust. **Qualification** Education: + High school diploma Preferred Experience: + Preference given to candidates with concrete construction labor work experience at meets or exceeds performance expectations. + Preference also given to those willing to learn and work in a team environment. Compentencies & Attributes + Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested. + Frequently walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching and climbing. + Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts. + Valid driver’s license + Safety oriented + Able to lift 50 lbs. + Able to work in a fast-paced, high-production environment + Willing to work overtime and shifts when needed including weekends + Able to work unsupervised + Able to work well with others + Good communication skills **As part of our dedicated focus on the health and safety of all employees, a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check, may be required.** **BUILDING INCLUSIVE WORKSPACES** At Amrize, there is endless opportunity for you to play your part.
