As a Labour and Employment Counsel, you will be responsible for advising and representing Baker Hughes, on a wide range of issues related to workplace law, including compliance, litigation, and strategic planning.
As a Labour and Employment Counsel, you will be responsible for:
Managing labour and employment litigations, this includes understanding of employment laws, conducting thorough investigations and exploring all available resolution options.Supporting internal human resources teams in all employment legal related matters and providing needed guidance.Specializing in laws & regulations/policies & practices as it pertains to employees, including in the areas of benefits, compensation and human rights.Providing guidance and counsel in union negotiations and employee relations matters.Advising Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures in the own field.Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problemsLeading as a project leader of medium sized projects or is a major contributor to bigger projects.To be successful in this role, you will have:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in legal.A valid admission to local legal bar exam.A minimum of 3 years of experience in labour and employment for UAE or Saudi.Prior experience in house or in a law firm.Previous experience in influencing senior stakeholders.Fluency in Arabic & English.Work in a way that works for you
