**Job Title: Grounds & Facilities Laborer** **Overview** Join our hardworking team dedicated to maintaining clean, safe, and functional outdoor and facility spaces. This hands-on role supports a wide range of maintenance and operational tasks across building exteriors, roadways, and landscaped areas. **Key Responsibilities** + Carry out physically demanding tasks with minimal prior experience required + Load/unload materials from trucks and transport them using carts, dollies, or wheelbarrows + Organize and stack supplies for storage or disposal + Clear debris, collect recyclables, and manage waste removal + Excavate, backfill, and level terrain using manual tools (shovels, rakes, tampers) + Remove snow, shovel concrete, clean drainage systems, and trim vegetation + Operate landscaping equipment such as power mowers and leaf blowers + Clean rooftops, gutters, and assist with flooring removal projects + Relocate heavy items including furniture, appliances, and equipment + Apply sand or deicer to icy surfaces and maintain walkways + Support seasonal groundskeeping and general site upkeep + Participate in emergency spill response efforts + Obtain and maintain asbestos handling certification (training provided) + May serve as a certified flagger or fire watch when needed + Perform additional duties or assist other trades as required **Preferred Skills & Experience** + Physical stamina and reliability + Basic knowledge of hand and power tools + Experience in janitorial, landscaping, or construction environments a plus + Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently or in teams + Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.41 - $24.41/hr.
