Laborer - Facilities & Safety Support
Description General cleaning, organizing, taping out floors for 5S, sweeping roofs/removing debris, and make safe operations (taping off areas, signage, etc). Support ongoing improvement activities Specific Tasks: • Cleaning/Organizing lab spaces • Perform general cleaning and organizing of workspaces, including sweeping roofs and removing debris. • Execute 5S activities such as taping out floors, labeling, and organizing tools and materials. • Conduct “make safe” operations including taping off hazardous areas, placing signage, and ensuring clear pathways. • Assist with facility maintenance and upkeep as needed. • Support ongoing improvement initiatives by collaborating with teams and implementing changes. • Follow safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or incidents. • Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectively. Skills General labor, Facilities maintenance, Hand tool Top Skills Details General labor,Facilities maintenance,Hand tool Additional Skills & Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Previous experience in a laborer, janitorial, or facilities support role is a plus. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various environmental conditions. • Indoor and outdoor facility settings. • May involve working at heights or in confined spaces. • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
