**Job Title: Laborer** **Job Description** The laborer will be responsible for moving materials on site, cleaning up, and assisting skilled workers in mechanical construction. Tasks include assisting in cutting pipe, brazing, soldering, and pipefitting. **Responsibilities** + Move materials on site and ensure the workspace is clean and organized. + Assist skilled workers in mechanical construction tasks such as cutting pipe, brazing, and soldering. + Perform pipefitting duties as required by the project. + Utilize hand and power tools effectively to complete assigned tasks. **Essential Skills** + Professional and polite demeanor. + Experience with hand and power tools. + Desire to learn a mechanical trade. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Apprentice experience is beneficial. + Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and solar is advantageous. + Familiarity with OSHA standards and assembly processes. + Ability to read blueprints and perform duct work. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company renowned as one of the top mechanical contractors in the Finger Lakes region. Laborers will be integrated into teams of 5-10, working in a dynamic environment that requires wearing PPE at all times. The standard work hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Binghamton, NY. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
