Our client is seeking **Laboratory Technician I** a to join their team. **Title: Laboratory Technician I** **Location: Cleveland OH** **12 months Contract** **Pay rate:$18/hr onw2** **Hours and working days are non-negotiable** **Shift:** **1st shift weekends, Saturday-Tuesday 7:00am-5:30pm (4 10hr shifts)** **Job Description:** **-** Perform analysis and tests of raw materials, in-process materials and finished products samples of manufactured/intermediate products to verify conformity to specifications. -Conducts in-coming raw materials testing, ensuring conformance to required specifications. -Records test results on batch tickets and in companys computer operating system. -Organizes and maintains quality records and retains of production/intermediate batches and raw material champions -Ensure accuracy and integrity of tests -Sets up, adjusts, verifies, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments -Maintain housekeeping of the working place -Respect the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Policy -Evaluates retains of production batches in response to quality complaints. -Performs 5S audits or other audits according to a plan. -Support all Quality Control related One PPG initiatives **Required Competencies:** -Minimum of two-year technical degree preferred (Quality, Engineering, or other sciences) or three or more years of related experience and/or training -Two (2) years analytical laboratory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
