The Opportunity
We are seeking casual Laboratory Technicians to join our team at our Newcastle site. The focus of this role will be performing manual handling tasks to prepare large physical coal samples for testing. You will also be involved in the simulation of coal production processes in order to test the properties of coal samples.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following:
Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks Certificate III or IV in Laboratory skills (Preferred but not required) Previous laboratory or sample preparation experience in any field would be well regarded but is not essential A methodical and well organised approach to your work. Ability to pass an Order 43 Medical Valid NSW driver’s license Must be reliable and with good communication skills
Safety is an absolute. Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing and the ability to meet site inductions will be a requirement of working on site.
Must live locally in the Newcastle region. NO FIFO.
