Discover Impactful Work:

The Manufacturing department is a part of Supply Chain and is responsible for the manufacturing of components used in Olink products. As a Laboratory Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with the production of components for Olink products at various stages. The manufacturing process is divided from raw material to finished product and consists of the production of conjugates, bulk materials, controls, and general reagent solutions, as well as, in certain steps, quality control of solutions and raw materials. The work is performed for internal customers, RnD and QC, as well as for end customers. The role also involves administrative work, including reporting, and presenting results to relevant departments. You will be based at our office in the center of Uppsala and report to the Head of Manufacturing.

A day in the Life:Perform manufacturing according to current records, instructions, and methods.Participate in -and carry out qualifications of equipment.Participate in -and run test pilots of new products or raw materials.Document manufacturing steps in governing documents and material reporting.Review and approve governing and reporting documents.Continuously work for a good working environment. Report and implement workplace environment improvements.Participate in - and carry out continuous improvements.

Keys to Success:EducationBachelor’s degree in chemistry or biology, or equivalent experience from previous positions such as several years of experience in QC and/or formulation manufacturing.Experience and knowledgeExperience in pipetting volumes down to 10 µl.Proficient with digital tools and systems.Ability to read and understand instructions in Swedish and English.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

The manufacturing steps are divided from raw material to finished products, so in some cases the production chain is long. This may require remaining seated or stand while performing the same task for a couple of hours at a time.
