Laboratory Technician 

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team located at Pinkenba.  This opportunity will see you working alongside and gaining valuable experience from a highly experienced team of professionals.

Your Responsibilities

Perform sampling/testing of cement and cement related products to recognised and approved methodsEnsure equipment is maintained in working order and conditionCheck calculations on worksheetsCompile and dispatch recordsMaintain accurate data of records for samples and test resultsEnsure compliance with project guidelines sampling products and testing/calibrationsDevelop opportunities for improvement and non-conformance reporting requirements

 

What You'll Bring

Proficiency in Microsoft SuiteStrong communication skills communicating with management, customers and team membersStrong commitment to safety and qualityExperience and knowledge in construction materials testing and sampling Ability to work autonomously and within a team environmentAbility to prioritise work and work under pressureCert III or IV in Laboratory Techniques (desirable)
