Laboratory Technician
Job Title: Laboratory Technician Job Description We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to provide essential support within the Manufacturing Science & Technology Group. This role involves working in a dynamic environment with flexible, multi-product manufacturing capabilities focused on vaccine intermediates, drug substances, and drug product manufacturing. The Laboratory Technician will be part of the MSAT Central Support Group, ensuring smooth lab operations for the department and scientists. Responsibilities + Provide critical lab support functions to maintain smooth operations. + Assist in large-scale microbial fermentation, purification, conjugation, and cell banking processes. + Perform data entry and sample preparation tasks. + Prepare solutions and handle laboratory glassware cleaning. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various projects. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). + Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving materials. + Strong communication skills. + Proficiency in buffer preparation and glassware handling. + Familiarity with inventory tracking systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Team-oriented mindset. + Ability to work independently and proactively. Work Environment The position offers a Monday to Friday day shift starting at 8 am, with a 40-hour workweek. There is potential for early leave on Fridays if tasks are completed. Overtime may be required for emergency tasks. The work environment is highly team-oriented, requiring cross-functional collaboration with the MSAT lab and warehouse. The role involves working in lab, office, and manufacturing facility settings. . Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
