We are seeking applicants for the position of Laboratory technician/ Chemist who are excited by the challenges of our business and variety this role offers. You will be based at Murarrie and will be responsible for ensuring both short term and long term objectives are met.
As a Laboratory technician/ Chemist, some of your tasks will be, but not limited to:
Laboratory work on a range of gas/liquid/solid samples involving chemical and instrumental techniques Adhere to manual handling procedures. Logistics management (equipment and samples) Comply with the Safety and Quality policies and programs Potential for travel if desired Data entry and Record keeping
What will you bring to the role?
To be successful in this position you will have:
Mature technical knowledge involving a high degree of autonomy, originality and independent judgement Self-motivated Safety conscious Experience in a Laboratory applying chemistry and technical knowledge and use of scientific instrumentation Good communication skills Knowledge of LIMS systems
