Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Bensalem, PA
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Compensation: $20/hour

Overview
Join a fast-paced laboratory team at an industrial services company in Bensalem, PA. This entry-level Laboratory Technician role is ideal for individuals seeking to gain hands-on experience in a lab setting. While the initial assignment is to cover a team member’s leave, the company has previously converted high-performing temporary employees into permanent team members. Great opportunity to gain exposure to oil analysis, instrument calibration, and general lab operations.
Responsibilities
Assist with inventory and cycle counts
Perform general lab maintenance and cleaning tasks
Support routine lab operations and testing as training progresses
Analyze oil, fuel, and coolant samples using methods outlined in the company's analysis program
Perform instrument calibrations and verifications in line with SOPs and manufacturer guidelines
Help fill staffing gap while a full-time employee is on leave
Requirements
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology, or physics – preferred but not required
Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of lab work experience – preferred but not required
Intermediate computer skills including experience with Windows-based applications, data entry, and email
Energetic, personable, and eager to learn
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established lab protocols
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
