The SCAL Specialist plays a key role in delivering high‑quality Special Core Analysis (SCAL) programs, with a strong emphasis on core flow studies and Formation Damage evaluation. You will design, execute, and interpret complex laboratory experiments that support reservoir engineering, production technology, and field development planning. Your expertise will help ensure accurate data, reliable workflows, and safe laboratory operations.

As a Laboratory Specialist General, you will be responsible for:

Performing advanced core flow experiments, including Formation Damage testing and special‑purpose studiesDesigning experimental workflows aligned with industry standards and best laboratory practicesAnalyzing complex datasets, interpreting results, and generating high‑quality technical reportsProviding technical input to reservoir engineering, production technology, and drilling teamsMaintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting SCAL laboratory equipmentDeveloping customized experimental procedures for unique reservoir challengesEnsuring compliance with laboratory safety, quality control, and documentation standardsFollowing all company safety policies, safe work practices, and applicable HSE regulations

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a minimum of 10 years of hands‑on SCAL experience with a focus on core flow studiesHave expertise in Formation Damage evaluation (preferred)Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Geoscience, Physics, Chemistry, or related fieldOR a High School Diploma/GED with at least 4 years of Engineering/Technology experienceDemonstrate strong mechanical skills for operating and maintaining laboratory equipmentHave excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilitiesHave strong communication skills for technical reporting and collaboration
