Labcorp is seeking  Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Shardlow, Derbyshire.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday – 37.5hrs

Job Responsibilities:

Conducting and performing studies relating to study plan protocols using appropriate instrumentation with routine and non-routine methods with multiple organismsMaintaining study documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines working to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)Collating data and accurate data recordingParticipate in QC review of selected routine dataMaintaining / upkeep of laboratory and work areaHusbandry tasks with various aquatic and terrestrial organisms

Minimum Qualifications:

GCSE level standard in Science, Biology, Maths and English

Preferred Qualifications:

Home Office licence PIL A/B

Additional Job Standards:

Worked within all areas using GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) or have knowledge of GLPDemonstrates excellent written and verbal communication, time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple studiesAttention to detail and consistent accuracy whilst managing multiple changing prioritiesSome weekend work and overtime hours required12 month Fixed Term Contract
