Lab Production Assistant

Location: Austin, Texas

Shift: Night

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Assistant to join our Hematology team in a high-volume diagnostic laboratory! This role involves assisting on the track with specimen processing, equipment maintenance, and supporting technologists in delivering accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with loading and unloading specimens onto the hematology track systemPrepare and process blood samples for analysisMonitor instrument performance and alert technologists to any irregularitiesMaintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipmentLabel, sort, and store specimens according to protocolPerform data entry and verify patient information in the LISSupport inventory management and restocking of suppliesAdhere to all safety, quality, and compliance standards

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience working in a production or machine-operated environment preferredPrevious experience in a clinical lab setting is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.06 - $20.06/hr.
