Sentara Albemarle Regional Medical Center is hiring an experienced Laboratory Manager to work full time.

OverviewThe Laboratory Manager assumes responsibility and accountability for laboratory operations within a Sentara facility. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality services that meet or exceed customer expectations. Analyzes patient data and suggests physician protocol for confirming patient diagnosis; acts as a consultant to pathologists, physicians, and other team members; identifies needs and implements training to ensure laboratory staff competency.

Education

Bachelor’s in medical technology or Biology/Chemical Science (required)

Certification/LicensureASCP or AMT certification (required)

ExperienceLaboratory (required)3 years Laboratory Leadership (required)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$79,497.60-$132,496.00. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
