Laboratory Client Services Rep (Medical Lab)

Day Shift
Provides customer service and laboratory-related communication regarding specimen submission and reporting of results to healthcare providers that use the UVA Medical Laboratories.
+ Communicates patient results clearly accurately and effectively to laboratory clients.
+ Serves as a resource to clients regarding test requirementsspecimen submission and other laboratory policies and procedures.
+ Serves as a dispatch service for lab couriers.
+ Serves as trainer and role model for new staff.
+ Performs area-specific support activities.
+ In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Position Compensation Range: $17.31 - $26.83 Hourly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2 years relevant experience
Licensure: None
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
