**We are seeking a Laboratory Associate I to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia, California.**

**Job Summary:**
Perform routine laboratory testing procedures to generate accurate and reliable data in support of clinical trials research, while adhering to SOPs and applicable regulatory requirements.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Perform routine analysis of specimens and accurately document results in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
+ Evaluate analytical results against laboratory system algorithms to ensure data validity
+ Identify, document, and escalate potential errors or unusual results to senior laboratory personnel
+ Prepare buffers and solutions required for laboratory analyses
+ Support post‑analysis sample and reagent storage in compliance with procedures
+ Assist with laboratory housekeeping activities in alignment with 6S standards
+ Notify appropriate staff of supply shortages and support inventory awareness
**What We Are Looking For:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required; some CAP/CLIA laboratories may require a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology
+ Basic knowledge of laboratory principles, equipment, and instrumentation
+ Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices and applicable regulatory standards
+ Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
**The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:**
+ Ability to follow detailed procedures while maintaining accurate and complete documentation
+ Basic computer proficiency and ability to work within laboratory information systems
+ Effective communication and collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders
+ Understanding of laboratory safety, infection control, and hazardous chemical handling practices
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $34,700.00 - $72,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
