We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Laboratory Assistant to support our sampling and shipping operations. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate preparation, packaging, and documentation of sampled materials for delivery to external laboratories, customers, and vendors. You’ll collaborate closely with lab and production teams, customer service, and onsite representatives to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesUtilize SAP software to coordinate shipments and deliveriesPrepare and hand off samples to customer representativesEnsure accurate sampling of customer materials and generate Sampling ProtocolsCommunicate effectively with external labs, vendors, and internal teamsTroubleshoot issues related to material classification, including SDS and Dangerous GoodsMaintain shipment tracking and documentation using Excel spreadsheetsSupport shipping and receiving with sample storage, movement, and inventoryPerform data entry of lab results and execute Usage DecisionsAssist in assigning ILOTs and managing sample material movement in SAAdhere to the HPMN 4-eye principle for quality assuranceSkills & QualificationsStrong analytical mindset with ability to track trends and generate reportsMindful and detail-oriented approach to data processingAbility to adapt workflows based on evolving requirementsFamiliarity with logistics operations and documentationExperience creating Proforma commercial invoicesProficiency in FedEx Ship Manager is a plusComfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
