Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

Our client is seeking dedicated BVR Technicians to join their team in a clean room environment, focusing on filling gelatin capsules, counting, labeling, and maintaining cleanliness of the room and equipment. This role offers the potential for a full-time position for the right candidate.

ResponsibilitiesFill gelatin capsules with medication accurately.Clean room and equipment to maintain sanitary conditions.Count capsules into bottles with precision.Label bottles correctly to ensure accurate identification.Essential SkillsStrong attention to detail and the ability to handle direct and blunt feedback.Background in science such as microbiology or chemistry.Experience working with repetitive tasks and extended periods of standing.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in clean room environments is a plus.Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is advantageous.Ability to quickly adapt and apply feedback effectively.Work Environment

The work environment includes standing on concrete floors for more than 4 hours at a time, requiring full PPE including masks at all times. The role involves repetitive tasks which may strain the upper body. Must be able to lift up to 25 kg. The team consists of about 5 people, including a shift lead. Working hours are from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The facility is accessible by public transit and offers free parking and a full lunchroom for breaks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
