The Family Birth Center nurse specializes in providing care to mothers and babies during the labor and delivery process

Job Requirements

Minimum:

Current California Registered Nurse (RN) licenseOne (1) year of experience in Labor and Delivery within an acute care settingNeonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (all nurses whose home unit is Maternal/Child) must obtained within six (6) months of hireAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must obtained within six (6) months of hire)Completion of Advanced Fetal Monitoring course every two (2) years (Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring acceptable at hire but must complete the Advanced AWHONN course within one (1) year of new assignment to Labor and Delivery) or maintain the NCC EFM certificationSTABLE certification (for all Labor and NICU nurses) must obtained within one (1) year of hireCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)Ability to read speak and write EnglishWhere You'll Work
